We created an entire platform to build, manage and update beautiful apps like Beloved Presents’ Inspire Truth App. It had to be gorgeous, easily managed and it had to work flawlessly at the event without cell coverage or WiFi. To extend their event presence we built micro sites and the main Beloved Event experience site.

Why can’t a loyalty rewards app be more than a punch card?

Willamette Valley Vineyards (WVV) worked with 7/Apps to develop a sales incentive mobile app for its distributors. How well did it work? Last year’s points leader just got engaged to the Winery Director, Christine Collier. In a couple of months we’ll be releasing a vision for WVV’s 50,000 wine club members. Unfortunately there’s only one Christine.

How easy is it to do a good deed?

Turns out, it’s hard to do. In an effort to help the world be a better place, we created the Deedz app for Praxeis. The goal was simple – make giving and receiving a good deed as easy as ride sharing. Pictured to the left is v13 of the application flow and prototype app. The simpler you need something to work, the harder the process to get it there.

Who’s the Pothole Fairy?!

At 7/Apps we carve out time to build the occasional project of our own. Such is the case with Pothole Fairy. Inspired by Portland’s Pothole Anarchists and their mission to improve our local streets, our lead iOS Developer took it upon himself to create this little gem to help the cause and get our community to shine a light on our pothole epidemic. We encourage everyone to download and use the app – you never know where the Pothole fairy might visit next.

How do we like to do things?

Step #1 - We ask questions. Lots of them.

We start every project with research. We learn everything we can about what you do, how you do it and how we can help.

Step #2 - We Ideate.

Through face to face brainstorming “ideation” sessions, we put pencil to paper, dry erase marker to white board, lego piece to lego piece to ultimately, get to our ah-ha moment.

Step #3 - Sleep on it.

Then we take a step back, take in a lot of feedback, let you soak in what we’ve designed, and then we decide if it’s worth building. If the answer is go, we execute, quickly and brilliantly.

Step #4, 5 & 6 - Built it, test it, iterate - repeat.

When we build, we do it in an agile way. This means that you see progress through an iterative process of coding, testing, and revising as we go. No surprises, no excuses.

Step #7 - Love what we've all built.

If we’ve gotten this far, step #7 is guaranteed – you’ll come away loving what we’ve done. Until that happens, our job isn’t done.
